Bath Sound is Bath's community radio station. We started in 1964 as hospital radio, and we still broadcast from a studio at the Royal United Hospitals.

Patients can listen for free on Channel 1 of the bedside set. Volunteers put out more than 30 hours of live programmes a week, giving a familiar voice to people on the ward.

At home you'll hear music, events, culture and sport from around Bath. We are on air 24 hours a day. Listen at bathsound.radio, on TuneIn, or by asking a smart speaker to play Bath Sound radio.

We are a charity, run entirely by volunteers. Donations pay for the studio, the stream, and the day to day costs of keeping the station on air.
